A quiet weekend this week for FODAC.
Two Forest of Dean AC runners took part in the Cheddar Gorge 10k at the weekend. Sue Shergold said “Well we thought it was going to be a dry day… wrong… just as we got to the start line it started to spit with rain. As they said 3-2-1 Go, the heavens opened. A really great run, up hill to start with, along a field, down through muddy woods, a bit of an up, down through woods again and then the steps!! Great fun. The sun came out when we finished.”
There were 148 runners. Kate Burke was 7th in her age category, 55th overall, in a time of 1:03:29 and Sue Shergold was 4th in age category, 48th overall, time 1:00:03.
