This annual event has attracted some Forest of Dean AC runners in the past, but the numbers have never been great since it tends to sell-out very quickly. This year, it was included in the Club Championship and there was a great increase in numbers, with about 25 taking part.
The weather was more suited to running than recently, with cooler conditions and a slight breeze. The race starts and ends at Frampton village green, and covers 10k of mainly flat roads to the west of the village. The winner was Olympian Dan Robinson, running for Stroud & District AC, in 32.50. First FODAC to finish was Chris Penny, 12th in 36.32. First lady was Tori Baker in 41.49.
Other times: Dan Sandford 38.42; Marcus Bennetto 40.11; Gavin Robertson 40.15; Scott Berry 42.04; Richard Pegler 42.12; Greg Nash 42.29; Julian Boon 44.43; Andrew Kaye 44.45; Sherryl Hall 45.12; Chris Moore 45.16; Alan Robertson 45.44; Jason Ross-Collins 46.58; Roy King 50.13; Jacqui Wynds 50.58; Ian James 51.27; Kate Burke 51.34; Rachel Nash 51.46; Graham Bennetto 53.19; Karen Barnett 54.28; Bev James 58.06 and Sharla Fleet 60.38.
