Forest of Dean AC’s champion for 2012 & 2013, Julian Boon, celebrated his 45th birthday by winning his age category (MV45) in the Hay Hillraiser on August 31st.
The 11.33 mile road race climbs 400m over 7 miles from Hay-on-Wye to the Hay Bluff car park along tarmac lanes before plunging back down in a quad shattering descent. He completed the course in 1:26:20.
