6 Forest of Dean AC runners opted to avoid the Sirhowy 10 by taking part in Worcester AC’s Bulmer’s Bash. This twisting and undulating 6.5 mile race takes place in Bulmer’s Cider orchards to the west of Worcester.
The race was won by Tim Carter (BRAT) in a men’s record time of 38.23. Mark Mathews was the first FODAC to finish in 44.14. Alan Robertson was next in 48.37 and 1st MV60. Other results: Chris Moore 49.38; Graham James 51.51; Jacqui Wynds 57.26 and Chris Hawkins 59.14.
