Forest of Dean Spring Half Marathon

A record number of FODAC runners took part in this event, 24 men and 23 ladies out of a total of 2100 entrants.

There were some great successes with Chris Penny the first FODAC home in 1.22.17 taking 3^rd place in the MV40 category. Nicola Hall was 2^nd V60 in 2.03.49.  Richard Pegler2.16.01 took the local trophy for 1^st Forest Male and the Forest men won the Team event.  Alan Robertson 1.45.55 took the Forest of Dean District Council Cup for the first FoD man over 60.  7 men finished in the top 50, all with 1.30, and winning”finisher”shirts as a result.  First FODAC lady was Sue Shergold  in 1.45.37.
