This was the first race of the Welsh Fell Runners Association summer series but for the 101 runners it was more like winter with rain and a driving icy wind. In the best of weather this 16.2 mile race from Llanbedr to Blaenavon would be considered tough. FODAC athlete Mark Matthews completed the course in 2.55.57.
