The Cardiff Cross Challenge was founded in 1997, and took place inside the Castle walls for two years, since when it has grown into one of the most prestigious Cross Country events in the UK. The event regularly hosts Inter-area match’s, and has held Home Country International’s on numerous occasions.
At the 2015 race, held on January 18th, Forest of Dean AC’s Ann Nixon was 23rd overall, winning the FV55 class and beating the all of the other age-category winners, other than the senior women. Her time was 31:18.
