The first Forest of Dean AC Club Championship road race took place at the Lliswerry 8 miler: a regular club favorite. Weather conditions were better than last year: cool and overcast with a slight breeze. 24 club members took part. First man was Chris Penny: 24th in 47.44, followed by Leyton Fleet 48.57 and Richard Pegler 50.09. First lady was Tori Baker 57.39, followed by Sherryl Hall 59.23 and Stef Francis 65.06.
