A supreme test of fitness! Participants complete a 6ish mile gruelling cross country course interspersed with ten different tests of strength, endurance and co-ordination and plenty of mud. Forest of Dean AC had both a men’s and a ladies’ team as well as a junior. The Fleet family were out in force and the highest placed man was Leyton Fleet, who was 3rd in a time of 59.41. Jack Fleet representing the juniors was 5th in 25.10 on a slightly shorter course.
Other members of the FODAC Mud Studs were Richard Pegler, Brian Francis, Marty Gunter, Hubert Ashley-Towell, Ian Morgan and Ian James.

Clearly more ladies enjoy getting muddy as the Forest Divas had a tremendous team with Sharla Fleet, Vanessa Pegler, Emma Parsons, Claire Morgan,Stefanie Francis,Jo Babij, Sue Shergold, Karen Barnett, Helen Kearsey, Nicola Hall and Bev James.
