This Saturday’s parkrun saw a great turnout with 105 participants, no doubt helped by the lovely weather. There have been a number of runners who have earned the 100 t shirt for completing their 100 runs but Saturday saw the first junior to do so with Callum Francis having achieved his target. There were also a number of pbs, helped by the course finally drying out.
Further north, Julian Boon and Mark Mathews completed the Malvern Marathon in very warm conditions. In an attempt to wrestle the “Running Bunny” title from Jools, Mark then went on to take part in Rogue Runs’ “The Gathering” night race, and coming away with the 1st male veteran prize.
Peter Woodward ran his first official marathon on 22nd, when he completed the Cheltenham Circular Marathon Challenge. In spite if making a navigational error, he still won the race in 3:20:47.
