Four of Forest of Dean’s lady members took part in the Tri Ferris Off-road Duathlon short-course event in Cirencester Park. The race consisted of a 1 mile run, followed by a 5 mile mountain bike ride and then another 1 mile run. First of our finishers was Claire Morgan 59:23 , followed by Karen Barnett 1:01:07; Jo Babij 1:02:02, and Vanessa Peglar 1:06:43. In the long-course event, which is two laps of the short-course, Forest of Dean’s Marcus and Graham Bennetto took part. Marcus finished in 1:32:51 and Graham in 1:52:47.
