Jules Boon and Mark Blake took part in this race on 30th November.
The race covers just over 2 miles: straight up, about 1500 ft, and straight back down again. It was a beautiful day to be in the hills and with perfect conditions underfoot the times were fast with the winner only 19 seconds outside the course record. Jules finished 16th out of 68, in 30:54 and 4th MV40. Mark was 34th in about 35 mins. We were then treated to excellent sandwiches & tea with stollen & mince pies in the village hall as the results were processed and prizes of wine & chocolates awarded.
