Sodbury Slog

This race has been around in one form or another since 1990. It covers a country-9 mile route of roads, fields and mud with a few hay bales thrown in.  11 Forest of Dean athletes joined a field of over 1000 runners.  Julian Boon came 30th in 1h 05m, followed by Mark Mathews 1:07; Simon Dimmer 1:11; Richard Dennant 1:16; Robert Freemen 1:19; Graham James 1:27; Tony Pownall 1:35; Stef Francis 1:40; Claire Morgan, Glenn Harvey & Jo Babij all finishing in 1:44.
