The 2nd of this winter’s Rogue Runs night races was a five-mile road run across the Severn Bridge and back and 255 runners completed the race. Amongst them were a good number from Forest of Dean AC, including several prize winners. Cory Sherwin was first FODAC to finish: 7th overall and 1st Junior Male in 32.47. Catherine Roberts was 1st lady and 20th overall in 34.59 with Cherry Fowler 2nd lady in 35.28. FODAC also won the Team prizes: 1st placed Men’s team – Wayne Bevan, Andrew Kaye and Andrew Thorpe; 1st placed Ladies Team – Catherine Roberts, Cherry Fowler and Jo Edwards.

A number of FODAC runners also took part in the 4th round of the “Might Contain Nuts” trail running series in the Brecon Beacons. This 10 mile race included 700m of ascent. Jo Edwards was first veteran lady to finish, in 1.48.43. Chris Hawkins completed in 1.48.30 and Gemma Hewitt in 2.07.15.
