There were no championship races this weekend, so members took the opportunity to enter a variety of event. On Saturday, Julian Boon took part in the annual Man v Horse race in mid-Wales, finishing the 20 mile course in 3.19.55: 85th overall out of 541 starters, including horses and riders. The next day, he and Tori Baker cycled from the Forest to Staverton Airport to take part in the Aviator 10k road race. Jools finished in 41.35 and Tori in 42.48. Dave Lowthian was first FODAC to finish: 13th in a personal best of 40.10. Next was Simon Dimmer 40.26; Janet Dimmer 45.58 and Jacqui Wynds 52.18.
In Swansea, Jane Creed completed her first half marathon, in the company of Jo Edwards. Their times were 1.58.10 and 1.58.09 respectively.
