New member Chris Penny wanted to do something special for his 40th birthday so decided to enter a marathon. Not any marathon, but one of the toughest in Britain: the Snowdon Marathon. In spite of much climbing, he completed in a remarkable 3:29:07, finishing 158th out of 1554 finishers. The winner was Rob Samuel of Eryri Harriers in 2:43:50.
