Six brave Forest runners went up against the best in the world, including Mo Farah, at the IAAF World Championship Half Marathon in Cardiff. They didn’t quite keep up with Mo, but there was some great times and PB’s, despite the wet and wild weather, on a flat and quick course around Cardiff.
First Forest finisher saw another excellent run from the ever improving Andrew Kaye, in 1:32:22. Other results: Gemma Hewitt (1.47.00), Jo Edwards and Kate Burke in 1.51.36, David Jenkins (1.54.14) and Peter Covington-Jones (2.02.01). Well done all!
