In spite of the demands of the CWR, many FODAC athletes found other things to do this weekend. Those who preferred mud headed to Eastnor Castle for two days of grunge. There were events on the Saturday and included two Junior events on Sunday covering 10k and 5K.

JUNIORS: Will Compton – 28.22; Owen Hall – 29.29; Ellie Hall – 32.52; Josh Compton – 37.28 ; Oliver Rennison – 37.28; Freya Rennison – 48.38; Patrick Rennison – 48.21; Barbara Rennison – 48.56.
Over in the Cotswold Water Park, 4 FODAC athletes, although masquerading under Triathlon team names, were taking part in an Olympic distance event with 1 mile of swimming, 25 miles of cycling and 10k running. Victoria Baker was 15th overall and 3rd lady, followed by Glen Harvey, Kate Frost and Claire Morgan.
Junior member Katie Kearsey was away in Ironbridge, where she won the WJ14 sculls competition.
Finally, Richard Powles took part in a 100 mile charity walk over two days.
