Dymock Half Marathon

The Dymock half marathon, held in conjunction with the music festival, was one of the Forest of Dean AC’s Championship races and attracted 9 runners from the club.  John Russell was first of these to finish, 7th in 85.08, followed by Dan Sandford, 10th in 85.45 and Daren Smith, 13th in 89.22.  These three took the men’s team prize. Sherryl Hall was the only female representative, finishing in 101.47 and taking the Female Vet prize.  Other results: Julian Boon 93.23; Richard Powles 93.42; Ian Morgan 100.47; Alan Robertson 103.15 and Peter Short 109.10.
