Bog & Bryn Challenge

The Bog & Bryn Challenge is a tough 13 mile multi-terrain scenic race, across the footpaths, open fields, country lanes and woodland of Llantarnam, Henllys, Rogerstone, Coed Eva and Hollybush. The route includes numerous stiles and stream crossings, very challenging terrain underfoot and a total elevation of approximately 500m (1640 ft).
Julian Boon was the first Forest of Dean AC finisher in 1:54:56. He was one of the few who managed to beat his 2012 time, remarkable since the course was longer in 2013.  Janet Dimmer finished in 2:19:39, winning the FV50 class.  Simon Dimmer completed in 2:11:35 but Michael Marks had to be helped from the course with a recurrence of an injury.
