13 Forest of Dean AC runners traveled into Wiltshire last Sunday to take part in Pewsey Vale Running Club’s Terminator multi-terrain race. This covered about 12 miles, the course started through some muddy fields, through a very boggy river and then up hill on to the downs, with spectacular views across the vale. More hills followed, so steep it was a case of on hands and knees to scale. The final sting in the tail was a wade through a river to finish.
Chris Penny finished 5th overall and was 1st MV40 in a time of 1.27.45. First lady to finish was Fiona Turner in 1.59.27. Also Mens Team 3rd Overall (Chris Penny, Dan Sandford, Gavin Robertson) and Ladies Team 4th Overall (Fiona Turner, Sue Shergold, Jacqui Wynds)
