The weather was good for distance running, with cool temperatures, sunny spells and a slight breeze.\u00a0 The course is virtually flat, making good times possible.\u00a0 The winner was Paul Whittaker of Southend AC in 1.07.18.\u00a0 First FODAC finisher was Greg Nash in 1.33.44, followed by Chris Moore in 1.42.59 and Patrick Rennison 1.43.52.
