The Tor y Foel fell race saw the first race on snow covered mountains this year. Nine\u00a0intrepid foresters braved the wintery weather and completed the 4.5 Mile, 1,150ft course.<\/p>\n

The race started just above Talybont reservoir, and wound its way\u00a0along some forest tracks, through fallen trees, across muddy fields, then up the side of\u00a0the mountain, with a couple of the usual ‘false’ summits. Jools won the ‘forest race to the summit’ closely followed by Dan and Helen. On the descent, Jools handed Dan the lead, when he lost his glasses and turned an ankle!<\/p>\n
