WINEATHLON \u2013 SEPT 13TH<\/sup> <\/strong><\/p>\n

This event organised by TeamOA is part of a series of \u201cwine runs\u201d and attracted runners from both the FODAC and the FOD Canicross. Very much a fun event with prizes for fancy dress, the FODAC team under the command of Sharla Fleet<\/strong> were the commando athletes.<\/p>\n

FOD Canicross members Simon & Bella were first place in their group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

An 8 mile easy trail run\/walk starting at Upton Snodsbury near Worcester, with feed stations every 2 miles, stocked with WINE!\u00a0 (each wine station based around a different wine region of the world) So entrants could run, walk or crawl their way around this wine themed event.<\/p>\n

A notable mention for Alan Robertson (nominated driver)<\/strong> who finished a leisurely 1.5 hours in front of the rest of the commando team who clearly made the most of those refuelling stations<\/p>\n

BRISTOL HALF MARATHON \u00a0– SEPT 13th<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n

At least one member of FODAC was doing a more competitive run, Karen Barnett<\/strong> took part in the Bristol Half Marathon \u2013 finishing in 2.03.38<\/strong><\/p>\n

World Mountain Racing Championship<\/strong><\/p>\n

Helen Brown of Mynydd Du successfully competed in this event coming 108th overall (14th Female and 7th F40) in a time of 53:49<\/p>\n

Bala Standard Triathlon Results<\/strong><\/p>\n

Victoria Baker of Monmouth Triathlon Club successfully competed in this European championship qualifier finishing an excellent 4th in a time of 2:12<\/p>\n
