“Eva Goodhead, Angela Sonn and I completed the final race in the Skyline series from Bath racecourse on Sunday. The mud wasn’t as deep as in January – the deepest only came just over the top of my socks, but I ended up covered in more mud than ever. \u00a0The hills were just as long and steep. \u00a0We slithered up and down through the wood and the final 2k to the finish was a real test of stamina. \u00a0There were definitely less runners, meaning there were not the usual hold ups so our times were quite a bit faster than in January. \u00a0It also meant that once again I was the first female over 60 in the 10k: \u00a0The organiser now knows me as that was my third V60 win out of the 4 races, so I have \u00a360 worth of vouchers to spend!
