<\/p>\nRogue Runs latest race was held in some spectacular scenery, covering a 10 mile tour around the Clydach Gorge and encompassing the limestone ramparts of Gilwern Hill where the 800ft \u2018Grunt\u2019 made its presence felt. \u00a0It started with\u00a0a run over the moor and down to the local \u2018Tom Thumb\u2019 pinnacle, which was used as a turning point, followed by a grand, scenic, fast drop down to cross the river, then the \u2018Grunt,\u2019 a big climb up and around the back of Gilwern hill, and a spectacular traverse under the cliffs and descent down to the old railway, finishing with an interesting run back to tea and cakes.<\/p>\n
