{"id":1853,"date":"2013-09-29T20:02:19","date_gmt":"2013-09-29T20:02:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/?p=1853"},"modified":"2013-10-06T20:03:28","modified_gmt":"2013-10-06T20:03:28","slug":"weekend-roundup-sept-28th29th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/?p=1853","title":{"rendered":"Weekend Roundup Sept 28th\/29th"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A busy weekend started with a men&#8217;s team representing the club at the <strong>County Cross-country Championships<\/strong>. \u00a0The team of <strong>Julian Boon<\/strong>, <strong>Richard Powles<\/strong>, <strong>Chris Penny<\/strong> and <strong>John Russell<\/strong> finished in 5th place in 46.20.<br \/>\nThe<strong>\u00a0Forest Autumn Half Marathon<\/strong> featured 6 Forest of Dean AC Runners.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Froest-Autumn-half.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1856\" alt=\"Forest Autumn half\" src=\"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Froest-Autumn-half.jpg\" width=\"531\" height=\"372\" srcset=\"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Froest-Autumn-half.jpg 758w, http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Froest-Autumn-half-300x210.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 531px) 100vw, 531px\" \/><\/a><strong>Matt Bond<\/strong>\u00a0was first to finish in 1.38.34, followed by <strong>Walter Leach<\/strong> 1.41.41; <strong>Jim Storrar<\/strong> 1.42.59; <strong>Graham James<\/strong> 1.57.10 and <strong>Wendy Lawrence<\/strong> 2.21.25. <strong>Liz Usedon<\/strong> also ran but her results aren&#8217;t showing as yet. \u00a0The men won the Team Prize. \u00a0In the 5k race, FODAC&#8217;s <strong>Ian Morgan<\/strong> came first in 23.04.<strong><br \/>\nClaire Morgan<\/strong>\u00a0completed her first triathalon at <strong>Tockington<\/strong>, finishing in 1:26:08.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"color: #ff4b33; line-height: 24px; font-size: 16px;\" href=\"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/JW-Berlin.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-1886\" alt=\"JW Berlin\" src=\"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/JW-Berlin-206x300.jpg\" width=\"144\" height=\"210\" srcset=\"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/JW-Berlin-206x300.jpg 206w, http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/JW-Berlin.jpg 364w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 144px) 100vw, 144px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In <strong>Berlin<\/strong>, the men&#8217;s world marathon record was set by Kenyan Wilson Kipsang in 2.03.23.<br \/>\n<strong>Jacqui Wynds, <\/strong>in her first marathon finished in a very creditable 4.38.46.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Oldbury-2013.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1858 aligncenter\" alt=\"Oldbury 2013\" src=\"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Oldbury-2013.jpg\" width=\"543\" height=\"411\" srcset=\"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Oldbury-2013.jpg 775w, http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Oldbury-2013-300x227.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 543px) 100vw, 543px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">7 FODAC runners took part in <strong>Oldbury 10<\/strong>: the latest Club Championship race. \u00a0First of these to finish was <strong>Leyton Fleet<\/strong>, 22nd in 64.30, followed by <strong>Julian Boon<\/strong> 64.49; <strong>James Dobbing<\/strong> 65.24; <strong>Richard Peglar<\/strong> 71.08; <strong>Scott Berry<\/strong> 73.44, <strong>Chris Moore<\/strong> 74.47 and <strong>Alan Robertson<\/strong> 76.22.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A busy weekend started with a men&#8217;s team representing the club at the County Cross-country Championships. \u00a0The team of Julian Boon, Richard Powles, Chris Penny and John Russell finished in 5th place in 46.20.
