{"id":1839,"date":"2013-09-25T16:39:05","date_gmt":"2013-09-25T16:39:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/?p=1839"},"modified":"2013-09-25T16:55:20","modified_gmt":"2013-09-25T16:55:20","slug":"swansea-10k","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/?p=1839","title":{"rendered":"Swansea 10k"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2988 runners completed the Admiral 2013 Swansea 10k, and 28 were from Forest of Dean AC.\u00a0 This event has become the annual club coach outing and this year didn&#8217;t have to suffer the wind and rain experienced in 2012.\u00a0 The weather was dry, warm and a bit humid: conditions which suited some people but not all.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Swansea-2013.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1838\" alt=\"Swansea 2013\" src=\"http:\/\/fodac.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Swansea-2013.jpg\" width=\"297\" height=\"227\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>First Forest finisher was <strong>Leyton Fleet<\/strong>, 124th in 38:12, giving him a single additional point towards the Club Championship over <strong>Julian Boon<\/strong>, 156th in 39:11.\u00a0 Third male home was <strong>Marcus Bennetto<\/strong>, showing improving form following injury, in 40:29.\u00a0 First female was <strong>Jacqui Wynds<\/strong> in 50:16, followed by <strong>Jane Creed<\/strong> 51:30 and <strong>Shirley Albrow<\/strong> 52:02.\u00a0 Other results:\u00a0 <strong>Richard Peglar<\/strong> 42:16; <strong>Jim Storrar<\/strong> 42:45; <strong>Scott<\/strong> Berry 43:19; <strong>Richard Dennant<\/strong> 43:52; <strong>Alan Robertson<\/strong> 44:35; <strong>Nick Wellsted<\/strong> 45:54; <strong>Chris Moore<\/strong> 45:58;
