Whether you\u2019re chasing a personal best or running your first mile event, this is a relaxed, supportive competition.<\/p>\n 👉 Test your speed and enjoy a fun, welcoming atmosphere.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Fountain Five<\/strong> is a scenic 5-mile trail race<\/strong> starting from Parkend<\/strong>, with its base at the iconic Fountain Inn<\/strong>. Expect woodland paths, challenging terrain, and a great post-race atmosphere.<\/p>\n 👉 Take on the trails and enjoy a true Forest of Dean classic.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Dave Lucas Memorial 10K<\/strong> is a well-established road race<\/strong>, starting and finishing at the Red Hart Inn in Blaisdon<\/strong>. A popular event with a friendly village feel, it\u2019s ideal for those looking to race fast or step up to the 10K distance. Renamed after Dave Lucas who was instrumental in setting up Forest of Dean Athletics Club and one of its strongest supporters.<\/p>\n 👉 Race through the lanes and chase a new PB.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Coppett Hill Race<\/strong> is a traditional fell race<\/strong> that rewards strength, determination, and a love of hills. A tough but rewarding challenge with stunning views at the top.<\/p>\n 👉 Embrace the climb and earn the descent.<\/strong><\/p>\n Our festive season favourite, the Christmas Tree Race<\/strong>, is a lively end-of-year 5-mile run<\/strong> complete with fancy dress, seasonal spirit, and usually plenty of mud.
